Dante and Lulu were divorced! - General Hospital

Why does he have any say on her property. She was living in the house years without him. I’m assuming Rocco and Charlotte will eventually control that stuff after 18. But Laura should be in charge now especially the home.

Yes and wasn’t she engaged to another man that was killed in the bombing? So I’m not seeing how she could have any expectations of Dante. But as far as home ownership I don’t know. Could be Laura

Do we know that he no longer owns the house? Divorced or not, his name could still be on the deed unless Lulu bought him out. Did they not buy the house together?

Regardless, Dante clearly still has Lulu’s best interest & cares very much about that responsibility. A vacant house is not a good thing. And Dante didn’t rent it to just anyone…he rented to Maxie & no one could convince me that Lulu wouldn’t be 100% on board with that.

When Lulu and Dante were buying the house, didn’t Sonny step up and buy it for them? I remember a scene of Dante and Sonny talking about purchasing the house. It’s actually a house you wouldn’t expect to see them own based on their income at that time.

I think you’re right. So why are we assuming Lulu is the sole owner of the house? Did I miss something?

I think Sonny paid the down payment/deposit, I don’t think he bought it outright. It would be in both Lulu and Dante’s name I would think.

Maybe they never took Dante’s name off of the deed and he is still paying the mortgage.

Am I the only one who thinks they might be setting up for a Lulu return soon. I mean they had Charlotte going to see her, Maxie is now moving into her house, Valentin and her are talking about Lulu. Sam and Dante are really happy right now. She could come back and stir things up

You are correct Sonny bought the house for them. Divorce pots and pans are only discussed when Carson split. So I am assuming because Dante was suffering from whatever PTSD the WSB did to him he just walked away from everything. He did ask Sonny to take care of Lulu and the kids.
